A Note about the CoronadoCandidates Running for Election
Michelle Gerig: Hello everyone! My name is Michelle Gerig. My family and I have lived in Coronado Ranch for 14 years now. We couldn’t have hoped for a more welcoming and friendly community! Buying here was the right choice. Seeing all the great things we’ve done together as a community, I felt I should pitch-in and help. This past year I had the privilege of serving on the ARC committee and the social committee. Together we did an amazing job decorating the neighborhood entrances for Christmas. The committees I served on are also responsible for planning our shindigs. Getting involved has introduced me to so many great new people! I love all the changes that have happened over the past year and would like to see things continue to improve. If I am elected to the board, I will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the table.
Cheryl Jurgens: My name is Cheryl Jurgens and I’ve lived in Coronado Ranch since 2012. I have served on the Architectural Committee for 8 years and participated in HOA Board meetings for 9 years. I’m a wife, mom, and a retired MRI Technologist/Supervisor with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Arts. In October 2018 I participated in The Gilbert Citizens' Police Academy and have been a Volunteer with the Gilbert Police Department for the past 17 months. I’m trained in community relationships and am a member of the Gilbert Police Department's Family Assistance, Crisis Support Team and Violent Victim's Unit. I was named GPO Volunteer of the Year for 2021. While my education and life experience may warrant your vote, I ask for your vote as a neighbor who wants to work with my fellow homeowners by listening and implementing your needs. I love Coronado Ranch community and am looking forward to our future endeavors.
Dwain Lambrigger: I have happily served on the Coronado Ranch HOA Board of Directors for nineteen years, because I love the community and have wanted to give back. My wife and I have raised three children and are proud to be a part of this community. I am pleased with all that we have accomplished over the last two decades having only increased the assessments twice. Since the board will almost be completely new, I would like to bring valuable historical perspective to the Board, as I have held the roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and Member at Large. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue serving the members of Coronado Ranch and continue our efforts to keep Coronado Ranch a great place to live.
Kim Jackson: I’m a wife of 13 years, mother to 3, Coronado Ranch homeowner for 10 years and small business owner for 15 years. Current member on ARC and Social committees. I have actively attended open board meetings for 2 years. For your convenience I helped get in person meetings quarterly at Coronado Ranch Elementary, I also helped push for new amenity options that you see on the voting ballot. I will not settle for anything less than transparency between the board, community and our management company always. I’ve enjoyed serving on various committees, it’s allowed me the opportunity to meet many of you and get to know your individual needs, it’s also helped me see the need for new perspective and participation on our board. I am committed to making Coronado Ranch a place where you love to live and proud to call home. I hope to be your voice on the board.
Keith Sorel: Coronado Ranch has been my home since 2005. I’ve had interactions with the HOA board that made me feel like we’re a cookie cutter community. We may live in track homes but we’re not a cookie cutter community and out HOA shouldn’t be run that way. There are great things about our community and I love living here but there should be more transparency into how things are done to find ways to improve. I’ll push for that much with other recently-elected board members we can do things to enhance our community and quality of life. In my job I work hard to make my clients happy, finding creative solutions to their problems. I’ll bring that attitude to our HOA Board because we’re not just residents, we’re customers. Our HOA fees should bring value and while they have, I’ll work for you to make sure it’s the best money you spend.
