A Note about the Candidates Running for Election
Tod Byers : Little about myself, I’ve been married forever and have three wonderful grandchildren. I have
been working in sales for the same company for 33 years, I have been on the board now for four years, and I really enjoy helping our community, I have
lived in Higley Groves for 8 years now, and absolutely love the neighborhood. It would be an honor to be re-elected to the Board again this coming year.
I will continue to contribute to the community and the board to my fullest potential. Thank you!
Amy Fraughton : Hey there neighbor! My name is Amy Fraughton, and have lived in this neighborhood for over
20 years, and have been a member of the board for many years too. I love this neighborhood because of the trees and grass, and my main concern is getting
the right care for both so that our neighborhood looks good not only now, but in 20 years from now I also love the people here, and always try to vote
according to what I know the neighbors want most. I believe the board isn’t there to vote for their personal agendas, but instead, should get to know,
talk to and listen to their neighbors and vote according to the needs and desires of the neighbors. I try to do this as much as I can, so if we ever meet,
I’d love to hear your ideas and thoughts too. Thank you for your vote!
Nathan Cook : Howdy! I am excited for your consideration for the Higley Groves HOA board. I first fell in
love with the tree lined streets of Higley Groves while in high school making deliveries and have wanted to move here ever since. My family made this
our forever neighborhood 7 years ago and we love everything from the holiday decorations to the awesome parks. Since we’ll be here forever, I am committed
to helping keep our neighborhood strong and vibrant. In my medical practice, I’m always looking for improvement and efficiency while cutting costs. With
this eye, I think I can help on the board. Speaking with neighbors, the trees are a universal concern but I know there are others. I’ve set up an
email: Nate4HigleyGroves@gmail.com where you can send your ideas and suggestions and together, we can find the best solutions. I appreciate your vote
as we continue our tradition of excellence.
Joe Petrick : Joe Petrick and his wife Emily moved to Higley Groves last year with their two young children.
Before moving to Arizona, Joe owned a small business/restaurant in Austin, Texas for five years where he employed 30 people. As a trained chef, he
has also had multiple leadership positions in the restaurant industry. Joe is also an avid runner/marathoner and enjoys running in the surrounding
neighborhoods and on the canal. Joe would make an excellent board member because he is involved in the neighborhood and community daily. He is home
with his daughters during the week, and on most days, can be found walking the neighborhood and taking them to the playgrounds and greenbelts. As a
father of young children and newer resident, he is deeply invested in making Higley Groves a safe, beautiful, and community-oriented environment to
raise his family.
Amy Fraughton : I have lived in Higley Groves for 15 years. I
love raising my kids here and will always have a home here. My interest in the board is to help maintain a
great community, keep everyone happy with common sense decisions and respectful treatment. And to maintain
our home values through the years.
My name is Joseph Cowart . I purchased our home as the first
owner in 2002. I care about the beauty and upkeep of this neighborhood as well as the feeling of community
our neighborhood offers. I have enjoyed serving on the board this past year. I will continue to be available
by phone & e-mail to listen to neighbors' concerns. I will always make decisions to reflect the voice of
the people in Higley Groves.
My name is Edward Archibald . My wife and I have lived in
Higley Groves for 15 years. I have served on past boards and am anxious to continue to serve members of
our community in the future. As a member of the Board I realize that I represent all of our community
members and will always listen to your concerns and consider them with decisiveness as we move forward
for the betterment of our community.
My name is Ryan Hill . I have been a resident of Higley
Groves since 2012. My wife and I were attracted to the community because of the great feeling you get
as you drive through the tree line streets. I love my community and hope to continue making it wonderful.
My name is John Anderson (Melinda Imig-Spencer). My family and I have lived in Shamrock Estates for 2 years now.
I have owned and operated my business for the last 12 years. I have three children ranging from 4 years old to 18
years old. I am a very passionate and driven individual and believe that I would make a great addition to the board.
I love that our community is filled with so many families and would like to help keep it a family friendly community
and want to make it the best it can be.
